Our brand story tells you “why we started,” and Kbao is our first answer. Its creation stems from two gentle pain points that we cannot ignore:
For Children, It’s Not Just a Toy, But a Beginning.
In a childhood wrapped in standardized answers and screen entertainment, we often see children’s natural curiosity and endless “why’s” quietly fading away. Parents want to be there but are exhausted by time and energy. Traditional toys are passive and silent.
So, we asked ourselves:
Can we create a companion that always responds enthusiastically to a child’s wild questions?
Can we, when a child points to a picture book and asks, “What’s this dinosaur?” immediately begin an adventure story about the Jurassic era?
Can we, when they feel frustrated, offer a simple pat and a comforting “It’s okay, try again”?
For Elders, It’s Not Just a Device, But a Presence.
We know that for families whose children are far away from home, the most painful part is not the material things possessions,but the sense of loneliness of not being able to “be present.” The phone was disconnected and the video call was cut off. All that remained was the silence in the empty room.
So, we asked ourselves:
Can we create a presence that makes parents feel the care of their children is always within reach?
Can we, when Mom forgets to take her medicine, gently remind her with a voice she recognizes?
Kbao was designed to simulate the “existence of companionship.”
It remembers the voice of loved ones through voiceprints and learns their preferences and habits through daily conversations. It doesn’t just respond; it actively greets.Its very existence is a kind of reassurance - telling those we love, "I’m always here." Every conversation transcends distance and becomes an endless stream of care.
Kbao is our sincere response to the core human need for “conversation and companionship.”
It is not a cold technological marvel but a warm, learning and growing family member. We created it to ensure that technology fills the gaps left by time, distance, and patience, so that every moment needs companionship can hear the response:
